New Road Parents was started over ten years ago by Margaret and got its name because at the time, she lived on New Road and when their children come out to them, parents start a journey down a New Road.
When Margaret retired from running the group in 2018, Chris took over as Chairperson having spent 12 months as co-chair. A management committee of five parents was also put in place to help run the group and continue to great work Margaret started.

There are other categories too. We may have more than one such child and they may have disclosed at any age from very young into adulthood.
